Party banter disappeared with patch 3
Prior to patch 3 updating automatically I had no issues whatsoever with party banter not triggering as reported by several players - after this patch installed I get nothing,absolutely nothing at all...

- What Platform are you playing the game on? Both PC and XBOX 360.
If PC, can you provide a DxDiag: http://hastebin.com/metizitoci.tex - What areas have you been in when the problem was reported? I have just started exploring the Western Approach, looking for HAWKE. Have you already entered the Hinterlands? Were finished pre-patch with some banter happening. Are you mostly spending time on Critical Path plots? Half and half. In the Western Approach doing the Griffon Wing Keep quest en route to finding HAWKE.
- What is the the Race/Class/Gender combination of your Inquisitor? Current on the PC is an Elf/Mage/Male
- What followers are you using at the time? Tried Varric, Ironbull, Dorian, then Switched to Cole, Ironbull, Vivian, then Switched to Sera, Cassandra, Varric. I even tried Solas, IronBull and Varric. No banter.
- How would you describe your play-style? Before this version of Dragon Age, I used to go with the quest and listen to all the wonderful banter. I play the game for the romance first, the story second and the fighting third. How are you moving around in areas? I walk everywhere because having to collect resources is difficult from the back of the mount and all your companions disappear. For example, are you using the mount? Are you playing a mage and using Blink to move around areas? No. I use a mage and he walks.
- Are you engaging in regular combat? No. In the Western Approach there's a lot of walking between battles if you want to gather resources. (Are you in combat every 30 seconds?) Are you playing in heavy-combat zones where non-player factions are fighting each other? No.
- How many hours have you spent in your current playthrough? 35, quite a few of those spent in Skyhold crafting or hanging around a camp praying for someone to talk. (the one you are experiencing the banter issues in)
- Where do you expect banter to be firing? I expect banter when I go into a new area, hopefully sometime within the first 10 minutes. After walking around 10-15 minutes, I'd like to hear Varric picking on Cassandra or IronBull. Solas was insufferable to IronBull in the Hinterlands. I guess they've agreed not to speak any more. >_< (Hinterlands was pre-patch. Western Approach is post-patch).
I love DA for its RPG aspects, but if the characters aren't talking to each other it saps the fun out of it. ☹️
