Patch 1.05 Bugged?

So I bought and downloaded DA: O Ultimate Edition through Origins, and played the PC Gamer Magazine prequel .dazip set in Orzammar before I patched the game. Today, I applied the 1.05 patch to the game and the 1.1 patch to Witch Hunt, and when I tried to start it up it told me to reinstall it.

I have done nothing with this game except that one run-through of the prequel adventure and then patching, so I can only assume the patch broke the game. Should I not be patching Ultimate? Or should I apply an earlier patch?

    Ok, so, just to update this? I uninstalled the game pretty much right after posting it, which means I had to spend hours re-downloading everything, reinstalled it and applied the patches, restarted my computer just in case and when I went to play? Same error message. So a fresh install + 1.05 patch + 1.1 Witch Hunt patch = broken game automatically for me.

    This can't be right. Is there some way Origin can auto-patch DA: O/A 1.05+ WH 1.1 so that I'm not breaking it by applying patches from BioWare?
