Patch for "Breeding Grounds" quest?

I have this bug too. I presume it's because I killed a dragon or two before trying to get the quest.

There isn't any public information about patch 7 yet in regards to fixes so don't know if this will be fixed.

I have a different problem. I got the quest after talking to him repeatedly (and the ! disappeared from the map)

And then I went over the bridge and fought Hivernal. At about half his LP, my party was dead and me, being the tank that I am, managed to take all his remaining life away. The problem is, he jumped into the middle of the tower and is just standing there doing nothing. The big red bar in the upper right corner is empty, and I can't even select him anymore. When I hit him, it doesn't show damage points only the words "poisoned" or "immune"

Same problem here. It is now 19 months since the last post in this thread and I have the same bug.

Killed one dragon, visited the Baron, no quest. Killed last two dragons, still no quest.

Have this really gone unnoticed by the developers?

Bioware is hard at work on "Mass Effect: Andromeda", and has completed the last patching of this game quite some while ago.  Most of the problems in these quests were related to getting ahead (non-sequential) with some parts and skipping the triggering conversations.  Once it's passed up, there is thereafter no way to complete them all.

Probably not "unnoticed", but definitely not fixed.  And more importantly, never going to be fixed. 

Patch #11 was the last one for DAI, and it was issued over a year ago (Oct 5, 2015.)

As Gorath pointed out, BioWare's focus is... elsewhere.  🤓
