Just woundering if last gen will get a patch to fix some of the bugs such as texture popin, hair and beards looking very dodgy and framerate (there may be more these are just ones ive seen.A lot of people own last gen and since we paid full price we would like a patch to at least fix the bugs.Thanks

I'm playing on the 360 and I'm having the same issues. During the cinematics, there's a huge drop in framerate and very glitchy graphics. I can normally ignore the occasional graphic hiccup, but in my case, the graphic bugs are so distracting that I can't concentrate on what's happening in the story.

At least you can play the game to notice the glitches. The text is so small that I can't even read anything so I can't continue on past the opening scene. (Ps3)

First things first. I love this game. But come on...It seems/feels to me that bioware did a LAZY work with this port. We are not talking about hardware issues here. We need to remember that new gen was forced too quickly, while last gen still had a lot to offer.Im experiencing like all of you, terrible framedrops, blackscreens, loadscreens that take +min to charge. Awful textures, and worldoddities, conversations that skip permanently... i mean. What the hell?I payed. I supported you. I expect quality.Im not saying i want what new gen has. Im just demanding what we deserve. Which is a game that does not look like a beta.

Freezing issues: PS3 version syncs trophies, then freezes at a black loadng screen after a few seconds.9. Some of the rifts don't spawn enemies correctly and certain quests can't progress because something won't load.10. Sometimes you can't start a quest because the initiator (ie quest giver) doesn't spawn.

I'm lucky I guess.Text is readable, no problem there.Game is loading fine and quick enough too.Where I DO have some issues is : Tall grass patches make the frame rate drop, a lot. Also, some helmets make Cassandra's hair become white. Another glitch is the sound at the forge, it sometimes gets stuck on a screaching noise for 1-2 seconds, pretty surprising! Textures (especially for special effects like magic spells and rifts) are pretty blocky, but that was to be expected on last gen.Still, pretty fun game. 🙂

Well to their defence, ps4 was absolutely unplayable pre-patch (Issues with ps4 hardware 2.0 something update).

Yes PLEASE fix this Bioware, this game feels almost unfinished is many areas. I can understand that the game is meant for next gen, but seriously, this game looks and runs worse than the it's predecessors. This feels more like a budget game at times. I can agree with all of the issues posted, as well as my saves being corrupted, although that only happened once so far.

So far? Jeez, game has only been out for a day. Lol. I only got to play for about 2 hours so far and had severe issues. Hope I can avoid save corruption on top of that!

Played thru alot of Hinterlands last night. Today, I can't even get it to load in after the main menu. I deleted the english voice over pack and managed to load in my last save. However, the game promptly froze after fast traveling. No luck since.

I will say, my male kitten thinks the start up menu is amazing. He spent about fifteen minutes running from one side if the TV to the other. He wanted to know where all the humans were going I guess. So I suppose if all else fails it could be used as a very expensive cat toy lol.

As of right now, I'm attempting a cache cleanse, then reinstalling the voice over DLC. Maybe something will work.

On top of my saved games not able to load with the game freezing on the black loading screen, there's also this weird glitch with jumping where when my character jumps, she does this odd hunch over type thing midair like she's landed on something mid jump. It happens like 80% of the time with jumps, and sometimes it screws up and my character practically teleports to where she jumped. Anyone else have that issue?

So far I've been fortunate enough to at least have the game be playable on my 360. Admittedly, I haven't played much beyond the prologue because the textures not loading is extremely distracting. I do get a lot of dips in framerate, but haven't had any crashes.

Yep. I have a female qunari doing that. Plus sometimes she jumps instead of crouches to loot things so she seems very delighted about whatever she found.
