Patch for ps3/360?

Mike Laidlaw has tweeted that they will be patching and that they are investigating issues. However I wonder how much they will patch, there is just so many problems. I don't think the game should have gone for gold yet, not for last gen since the game seems to be more close to beta level.

I hate sounding like a negative nancy, but if they do patch it anytime soon, it'll be a patch that will only or largely benefit PC users and possibly next gen users. The game was designed and made for the PC above all else, so unfortunately they're going to be given priority. I still can't believe that the first time they mention patches coming out, they specifically acknowledge the PC community. That was a bit of a shock to me, I didn't expect to see blatant favoritism. I'm sure that at that point, everyone on all platforms were having some major issues 😕mileyindifferent:

There are a ridiculous amount of graphical glictches during cinematics, completely ruining the immersion and desired atmosphere. I pre-ordered the game because I trusted bioware to release a finished game, but inquisition on the 360 and ps3 desperately needs polishing.

Actually what I have observed game plays quite well with majority of PS4 and Xbox One players. There is some bugs but they aren't as game breaking as for old gen. I don't know anymore what to think about the favoritism, it's clear that they are thinking of PC players most. They however have particularly promised patch for old gen too but I think they will take a look for PC issues first. Which is quite sad for old gen players since we have most problems (and we don't have much fixes for them unlike PC players already have had graphic card updates and other advices).

To be honest, I was half-expecting it to have problems, being a port out for last gen. But I was really disappointed nonetheless by these things (to name a few):

1. The fade rips are very poor in graphic quality, almost resembling something out of Playstation 1.
2. Facial freatures such as eyebrows are pixelated, facial hair and hair looks unnaturally shiny.
3. Some headwear causes the rest of the hair to disappear. For example if I wear hat of the inquisitor, I suddenly look bald.
4. Sound clips especially during battles.
5. Some textures load way too late and sometimes during custcenes.

All in all the gameplay is quite fantastic and the story seems brilliant, but I can't get over how horrible it looks at times, it's stealing away from the whole experience.

I just don't think it's fair as I paid full price for the game, and while I didn't expect wonders I did expect it to be more professionally done, at the very least tested properly.

Please, for the love of god, we seriously need a patch for this.

Do they plan on releasing a patch for the last-gen consoles at all? There are some serious bugs that need to be addressed and those of us playing DAI on 360 and PS3 are feeling short-changed. I've only heard about patches possibly being released for PC, which utterly baffled me. There are clearly problems across all platforms and they all need to be addressed (audio and visual glitches, bugs rendering certain missions unplayable, etc.) Getting a patch to fix these issues on my 360 would be waaaay easier on me than dropping a few hundred dollars on an Xbox One, and I know i'm not the only one who feels that way.

So I was browsing my twitter feed and, of course, I follow Mike Laidlaw...According to him there is no ETA for the patches but they are actvely working on it. Main focus is stabilitiy and compatibility issues because a lot of people cannot play at all due to crashing etc etc. Also the small text was mentioned, he said he would have them look into it because he found that to be odd.  Hope some find some comfort in this info.

Chiming in that other than the poor graphical problems and frequent freezing, now my game doesn't even load.  I'm on ps3.  It often freezes when "loading trophies" and if it gets passed that point it will freeze when I load my saved game.  At this point it is unplayable.
