Patch made performance MUCH worse

I'm having a lot of the same issues.  Constant lagging in cutscenes as well as moving across a map, and that horrible graphics bomb that put everything on low quality no matter what you manually change them to.  No scars, either.  My saves have been corrupted and even a reinstall didn't save anything.  My computer specs allowed me to run high ot ultra settings just fine before the patch with maybe two or three crashes since the game was first released.  Corrupted saves right before the final boss are kind of a mood killer.

Also, Varric is gone.  I can run around Haven for fifteen minutes or more and he will just not show up or register at all. I realize one of the patches was going to address his movements crashing into the terrain, but whatever was intended wasn't achieved.

I can't even play the game anymore, which is a huge disappointment since I've been waiting for this ever since Dragon Age II.  A lot of things I specifically purchased the PC version for just got flushed down the toilet with this patch and I hope it's addressed soon.
