[PC] DA keeps crashing at entering War Room since Patch 2

So patch 2 and hotfix did not fix the DX crash, but for some reason it seems to be less frequent now, so that's great, however the game keeps crashing to desktop randomly whenever I enter the war room. It doesn't give any errors, it just instantly closes the game, and it happens randomly, but every time it does, it's whenever I summon the war council in Skyhold.

This did not ever happen the 50 hours I played before patch 2, now it constantly happens and I have no idea what to do about it or what's causing it.

Drivers are up to date, in fact everything is up to date, and my PC is well beyond minimum spec.

Win 7 64bit

GTX 770 Phantom

i5 4670K

8 gigs DDR3 RAM

If anyone has any ideas or facing the same problem, a solution would be greatly appreciated.

I'd start by running a repair. You can get the option by right-clicking the game panel in Origin.

It sounds like some of the assets involved in the War Room have been damaged, the repair should find and replace these.

I have had no trouble with the game until suddenly I tried to enter the War Room in Skyhold and crash straight to desktop!
I thought initially it was after a conversation with Cassandra and the autosave was listed as a "Milestone Save" so reloaded a previously saved game and all was well... I was able to enter the War Room. Tried to go back in a second time and now it crashes to desktop again.
I do have the first patch installed and have noticed only very minor graphical glitches all through the 60+ hours I have played.
I tried the suggested REPAIR and it sayd everything is ok.
Suggestions?

Repairing seems to have fixed it, never crashed at the war room since, thank you for your assistance 🙂

WESTBAY_BOY, if the repair's coming up with nothing, can you check your card manufacturer's site for any updates? Also try restarting your machine with a Clean Boot and see if this has any effect.
