Well the only fixes that I came across fo rthis particular fix was to create a .cfg file and drop change the number of job threads and cut pre-rendered frames to my monitors refresh rate. When i added an overlay I noticed I went up to 5 job threads in patch (it keeps one in reserve.) Prior to that players were reporting job thread counts of 2-3.... Credit goes the appropriate players for the .cfg tweak below...
I have a i7 quad core so the max allocation of CPU hyperthreads is 6 for me.
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 6
gametime.maxvariablefps 60
However, that said it did 'help' with the CPU spikes but my copy was still somewhat unstable but I didn't like crashing in Tac Cam so after all that. I finally uninstalled Origin and DAI and reinstalled it. As Origin verifies the game key just go into the menu and turn off all auto-updates and ignore non-mandatory updates, and take Origin out of in-game. I backed up my saves but since they are marked either patch1 or 2 right now they are unplayable.. I lost a huge chunk of game time (200+ hours over serveral story lines/toons) but it's more playable in it's pre-patch state and that said it's actually more stable then in it's patch 1 build for me.
Run CCleaner anyway, I did. It's good little program and i really like it more than what I regularlly use (N360 Disk Doctor.)
I did a clean boot as well. both procedures can be found on the forums (they're not really needed, but I do regular maintenance on my PC about every 2 wks anyway so I figured I try something new.

not to burst your bubble but this is not a fix for everyone, however it does help with some stability.
I also helped (indirectly) leetminiwheat with the testing.
I also noticed during said testing that you get one less thread if using nvidia vs amd
i used the command Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8
with the nvidia cards installed I got a return of 6 threads
with AMD I got a return of 7 threads.... just f.y.i.

Yeah like I said it 'helped' but it wasn't worth it, so after all the time I spent on the forums I went back to pre-patch. It's the best solution at the moment.
