Well, I thought I would join in the conversation and post the issue I have been experiencing (much like a billion others).
So this is a chronological order of issue, what I did, etc...
1: Installed the game Tuesday. Played a lot that day (very addictive), no issue, worked great.
2: Wednesday: Played most the day again, no issues. Around 9 pm, started getting a tiny bit of lag. Decided to do a fresh reboot. Noticed windows had some updates at restart. Updates installed, machine reboots.
3: After reboot, launch game. MASSIVE lag. I load into Redcliffe, and I cannot move. Every 15-30 seconds there's movement, then freeze/lag. I can move the mouse cursor and tab etc... just fine however. Dragon Age is using %100 CPU.
4: After trying a lot of graphic fiddling I decide to play some Counter Strike Global Offensive with some people to take some of the frustration out. While playing CS:GO, for the first time ever I am getting 20-100 FPS. It's going up and dropping. Bad chop during game play. So my first thought is that it's Windows update since this all began after that. System restore time.
5: Run system restore. Dragon Age: Same issues.
6: Delete Dragon Age completely (registry and all). Reinstall game.
7: Launch game, menu chop (face turning red). I tab out, open task manager, notice svhost.exe is using %50 CPU, close it. Game runs perfectly.
8: Took advantage of smooth gameplay, finished missions, sidequests. Now at Skyhold and it's late, so I shut it down.
9: Today (Friday). Turn on computer, launch game. The lag begins once again. Tab, Task manager, game is using %100 cpu again (30-60 at the menu).
I may reinstall again and see if that works (like last time). And if it does, I may never shut the damn game down till it's complete.
So, Mark Darrah (Executive Producer of the Dragon Age Franchise) said the next patch is close.

You guys think this will be adressed?

At least it confirmed there will be a patch. No when or what's in it (though since they mentioned the multiplayer key bug thing, I assume that'll be there).

multiplayer piffle, what about the rest of the world 🙂
Seriously, I like multiplayer but it is not the main part of my gaming experience, so focus on the important stuff and add on the multiplayer please
