[PC] The Forbidden Oasis crashes

Hey everyone, i've got an issue with my game.

When i arrive to The Forbidden Oasis, if i stay there more than 5 seconds, the game will exit to the desktop WITH NO ERROR ☹️

The 1st time i went there, i was able to talk with the scout normally, but once the conversation ended i got a crash.

I retried, i done the convo, saved and exit the area back to Haven, now when i try to go to The Forbidden Oasis again i get a crash. Sometimes i can actually load the area, but after a bit it crashes again ☹️

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel i7-3930K no overclock

Memory: 32GB

GFX Card: AMD 6990 with the 14.11.2 Beta drivers since i started the game.

OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

I've got a similar problem in that I went to the Forbidden Oasis, searched around, and had both Auto and Quick saves. I had identified all of the Shards, and set up the second camp, so it certainly wasn't "as soon as I appeared".

Problem is that I went into a temple and fought some spiders, but had the party killed. On "continue" the game brought up the load screen with the three "information cards" but crashed to the desktop at about the time I would have been placed back at the savepoint.
I reloaded the save, both from "Continue" and from "Load AutoSave" and "Load QuickSave", and each time it crashes at the same point.
I am on PC (i5 2500/AMD 7850) running Windows 7 and playing 1080p with latest drivers and updates. I have taken graphics settings to "Low". I have deleted and reinstalled the game. I have repaired the .NET 4.5.2 installation.
I didn't save in Haven when I was last there, so couldn't go back to a different location, so I started with a new character and everything works fine.
Is this a problem with the .DAS save file? Is it a problem with the Forbidden Oasis? I don't want to have lost all of my progress (All of the Hinterlands and all of the Storm Coast, along with the start of Orlais).
