PC: Unable to connect to multiplayer games: "..session lost"

I've been having this same issue with being able to connect with my friend and vice versa, we can connect to other people's servers just fine but to each other it will never connect. We have to connect to another persons game to play together. We've both added firewall exceptions and forwarded the ports with no success. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Same problem here. I tried to play with a friend of mine (both by hosting a game or trying to connect) but the game started a "connection lost loop". ☹️
