PLEASE HELP DRAGON AGE CRASHING

Just looked up your CPU mate and it's coming up as Dual Core. Unfortunately Inquisition only runs on Quad Core :-\

What you're probably seeing is the number of threads rather than cores (2 cores, 4 threads).

Here's a link to the Intel website for your CPU that states number of cores is 2

As it's a laptop, no not really 😕mileysad: you can't really replace the CPU's in them and the game won't be patched to run on dual core. Sorry mate

 It has nothing to do with the cpu, dual cores with hyperthreading have been able to run the game AND that doesn't cause directX errors. Anyway, what is your graphics card (you should just post your dxdiag though)? Have you updated all of your drivers?
