Possible fix for stuttering/freeze, CPU 100% issues

This made it better. A lot better. More than 100% better.

Still not playable, unfortunately, but at least the main menu works now. 🙂 The game is still much slower than before patch, and the freezing for 5-10 seconds at a time still frequent.
