Preload Download Progress Keeps Regressing

Been having the same issue as well. Spoke to a nice support guy named Satyam and he informed me that a dev fix is being put into place for this issue and hopefully to address the corrupt vcredist files that are required to install the game. So keep your fingers crossed guys.
I was just about to finish my downloaded , and suddenly the 23 gb , I have downloaded reverted back to 17.2gb , now I have to wait another few hours since my connection isn't that fast .
What is worst is, I contacted the support guy and they refuse to acknowledge this is their problem, keep telling me to do all the silly restart router, restart pc , restart origin which don't work at all .

I've been pre-loading since the moment it went live for pre-load...have yet to get past 8GB due to either an error message via Origin or the reverting...
This is really starting to frustrate me...especially when I see this..16,777,216TB/23.81GB for the download progress.
I am also having issues with the pre-loading and have seen the ~16EB/~24GB message which seems to occur everytime I try to download it.
This is not the first game I have had this (or similar issue) with downloading via the Origin client.
Perhaps we should bill EA for any unnecessary download bandwidth used because of this issue.😕mileywink:
