I'm also having the same problem. Although when I pause the download and restart it, it seems to recover some gigs. I don't know why it happens.
Yes it did that to me as well , pause and resume ONLY recover a portion of it .
I can be downloading 3gb and suddenly just lose it, pause and resume might recover maybe 1 GB back.
End up downloading over 50 gb , still downloading , going at 93% . Don't bother going to EA tech for helps , they will never give you anything useful and refuse to acknowledge the problem . Worst game platform ever
