Problem with auto pause

I'm guessing you did not turn pause on AOE off and, it's pausing in combat whenever you press a button for an AOE ability.

Does this have something to do with performance processor or graphics? This is a bug in the game? Or maybe some kind of option you can turn off?

It's hard to play when you have to be switched this pause for more than 100 times per hour ☹️

If you are using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, it can cause this. 

The Tac Cam is bound to the mouse wheel. You canot zoom out too far,

or the tac cam engages.
