[PS3] Character avatar glitch

Question

I am new to Dragon age inquisition and just started a new game. However from the beginning all characters are covered in an obnoxious blue aura clustered with green pixels, but only on parts where the flesh is exposed. Like the face and hands. If I close out the game completely and restart it goes away, but returns a few seconds later. I have checked and I have the latest version installed, is there a way to fix this? I don't wish to return the game especially since I have only begun to play, but the bright aura cannot be ignored and is actually quite headache inducing...

You forgot to mention the platform you're playing on. (Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PC)If you're on PC, please provide your hardware specs in the form of a dxdiag report.

My apologies, I am playing the playstation 3 version. As for pictures this is the best I can do...

I added a PS3 tag to your title. I don't know anything about PS3, but maybe someone more knowledgable will find this thread.

Is the game installed to the hard drive? If not, you should try that. If it's already installed, try reinstalling.

My second guess would be hardware failure, but it would surprise me somewhat that this would affect only the characters' faces.

Thanks anyway, but to just so I am clear it affects any place flesh is exposed. Perhaps I am just an unlucky one in a million because I am unable to find anyone else with this problem. Thanks for replying anyway.

That's a really strange graphical glitch&nbsp;@Hexlocke. Try to clear the cache of your PS3&nbsp;maybe?&nbsp;&nbsp;
