PS4 Menu problems with Dragon Age Inquisition

So...I first bought Dragon Age Inquisition on amazon and installed it (with correlated updates) with no problems. Once I was in the menu bar tho, both analogic sticks didn't work. It was impossible to skim through the menu and impossible to change the parameter of the character. I thought it was the game itself so I turned it back and boight a new one. However, the same problem was brought up again.


The strangest thing is: when i am in the actual game both analogs work nd I can move my character. But for the menu and the creation of the character NOPE.

My ps4 joypad works perfectly with all the other games so I have no idea what is happening.


I have already lose money and I am really pissed. Any idea of what is happening and how to solve it?

    On my first playthough I was unable to customize my features, so I went with one of the vanilla prefab female appearances.  On my second playthough (as a male on nightmare), I was able to get the customization working.

    I'm not sure if the former was a bug or if I just missed out on how to properly select things the first time around.

    At least I'm not the only one! But does this work just for a PC? Or is it general pads? Cause I'm playing (even tho it's a big word since I can barely do some basic things) on a PS4

    It's really annoying tho, I tried to contact some whatever game expert on the EA help website but nobody replied

    I kind of have the same problem. I can't move up on the menu at all and in the game I can't run unless I spin the camera . And then I only run a few steps. And this is my second copy. Have you had any luck?

    I also bought Inquisition for the PS4 yesterday and I installed the update overnight and I was so disappointed to experience the same thing you guys are experiencing when I started playing the game this morning. Why doesn't EA have any reply to this????

    did a live chat with a "game adviser" earlier (actually 2 of em, the first one passed me to the next one).

    ultimately, i was told to create another thread in this forum so this'll get to the attention of the devs.

    I was like WTF i already linked *this* existing thread in our chat and now you're telling me to create a dupe thread so the devs will finally notice the issue? Needless to say, I gave really bad comments on the post chat survey.

    So what happened with this issue guys?I just downloaded the game of the year edition and i have the exact same problem....

    Searching all over to the internet, but still cant find how to fix the problem. Why EA is not responding to this issue? So sad..
