(PS4) Respec error Knight Enchanter (Last Patch) - Spoiler Alert

Hi.

After the lastes patch (10) I had to respec the skill points of my knight-enchanter (Inquisitor), because the changes were very bitter 😉. After that the "new" improvement of the spirtit blade skill (amplified blade) is falling back to "defending blade". The "new" improvement is no longer available. Is that a bug?

    Hello

No it is not a bug i'm affraid they distroyed the knight enchanter build

So why oh why did you guys from EA or Bioware distroyed the knight enchanter build about a year ago i was playing knight enchanter and i loved being overpowered and now that is gone well this is the last time i played knight enchanter

And where is Fiona again about a year ago there was a quest and after that Fiona would show up in Skyhold but i never got it she is nowhere to be found

And there was a quest with Dorian's teacher or something but that is gone to

Fiona will only be in Skyhold if you sided with the Mages (otherwise you kill her in Haven). She's in the same area as Dorian, between him and the research table.

Unsure what you mean about a quest with Dorian's teacher. There's one with his father, which should activate when he likes you enough (Mother Giselle will show up in the main hall with a letter). You can judge his former mentor, Alexius, and possibly get a war table mission as a result (again, only if you sided with the mages).

I know but i never got the quest because i would have sided with the mages and yeah i know where she should be i have done this before

with my previous characters i always sided with the mages so is this some kind of bug

I have done the one with his father Dorian pledged his life to me of becoming a good friend of mine

Yes that is the one i mean that war table mission with Dorian's mentor but i never got the quest where you side with the mages or the .........?

If you never got the quest to side with the mages, you wouldn't be at Skyhold 😉
There are two main quests to choose from, and it's a choice between mages or templars. After going to Redcliffe and meeting Dorian (which you can skip if you're going with the Templars), both will be available on the war table. The templar quest takes place in Therinfal Redoubt, involves some Orlesian nobles and an envy demon. The mage quest takes place in Redcliffe, involves some time travel and a super grim Leliana (and a cameo by Alistair and/or Anora). 😛 If you choose one, you can't do the other. At the end of either quest, you can choose to either ally or leash your new friends. You can then seal the breach, stuff happens, welcome to Skyhold.

The war table mission with Dorian's mentor you can only get if you chose the right option when you judged him (I think it has to do with magical research), as is the case with many judgments throughout the game. And again, you can only judge him if you sided with the mages.

    Hello Niah_Dark

Yes i remember all of that but not in my game we are talking about Inquisition right ? because i don't know anymore

I am at Skyhold i'm almost at the finish only two more main quests the one with the dragon and the one with Corypheus but i never got the quest where i had to choose between the Mages and the Templars so what happened to my game

And there is another character that is missing from my game and that is Samson yesterday i was doing the mission What Pride Had Wrought and now it was a Woman ( i don't know her name anymore ) insteadt of Samson i remember from my previous characters that i had to find some kind of artifact that would distroy his armor but not in my game or at least not anymore so again what happened to my game ?

Wel i never got to Judge Dorian's mentor because he is not in my game anymore

btw Thank you for replying you are the only one that takes the effort to help so Thank You

@Dragongirl1888 It sounds like you did the Templar mission (Champions of the Just) without realising. That mission takes place while you're still in Haven, and either it or the mage mission (In Hushed Whispers) is necessary as either the mages or templars (depending on which mission you do) help you to close the breach, which then leads to the attack on Haven and the move to Skyhold. And singing.

Choosing the Templars means you went to Therinfal Redoubt, found out the Lord Seeker was an imposter, met Cole in your head, fought an incredibly bendy demon and recruited the Templars. If you allied with them and saved Barris, you may have even given him a promotion at some point after moving to Skyhold (it works like a judgement, but with less potential for beheadings 😛 ).

Instead of Samson, a Tevinter mage, a former slave named Calpernia is Corypheus' second in command, and Leliana gave you a quest to find out more about her (instead of Cullen's Samson quest). If you did that quest, you have more options when you encounter her at the Well. And you met a guy in a bubble at the Temple of Dumat instead of a suicidal Tranquil.

Every time you ask Leliana for updates, does she mention how recruiting the templars was good?

Dorian's former mentor wasn't captured by the Inquisition, so you never got to judge him.

Wow, this thread has gotten so off track. And spoilery. That's probably bad, given the title, which indicates none of the spoileriness.

    @Leora85

Yes i guess i did without realising it i'm sure i was awake all the time strange

Yes i met Cole there and yes he was in my head so finaly i know now and i know the other side of choosing the Templars ( without realising it ) because as i said before i Always sided with the mages and yes that was her name Calpernia

Yes i remember Barris i think he works for me now i'm not sure becuase my throne was bugged i could not Judge for a while

Yes Leliana Always talked about the Templars at some point that was starting to get annoying

Yeah you are right spoiler alert

btw do you know if the shard in the Hinterlands is bugged somehow the one where the Dragon is ?

i have tried 50 maybe 60 times to get up there and it is still there

Do you mean the shard where there's a bit of water with a rocky bit in the middle, dragonlings wandering around underneath (where the High Dragon initially attacks you)? You have to jump up the rocks, it can be a bit of a pain, but it is possible. With all the patches, all the shards and mosaics are possible to get to. 😉 There are probably YouTube videos for them all by now if you get too stuck.

And it's always good to try all options over various playthroughs, that way you get to see everything! 😛

I added a spoiler warning, but perhaps if you have any more spoiler-ish questions, you could start a thread with a spoiler warning or send me a PM. 😉 Happy to help out, just don't want to ruin any surprises for anyone.

Yes that's the one the one where the Dragon first attacks you and where the Dragonlings are i know it is possible with my other characters i did it but this time pfeew so maybe due to the latest patches or something maybe it was bugged somehow so i have to try harder then wish me luck

There is only one Mosaic piece that i haven't found yet and yesterday i killed my last Dragon i think you know witch one i mean i'm level 25 and a bit not bad right ? so there is not much to do anymore what bothers me a bit ( maybe more then a bit ) is that you cannot talk to your friends anymore after you finish the game a real bummer i wish Bioware would fix that

Yes you are right that it is a good thing to try all of the options like the one with Iron Bull's questline i Always sided with him ( i wanted him to be happy i guess ) and never the Qunary next time i will try that because i know now that there are some War Table quests that you can do for them and at the end you can get a mage staff the best in the game oops spoiler alert btw for me personaly i don't mind if i know things in the game before i have done them

Are there still many new players ? because yeah the game is more then a year old now

I have no idea how to do that how to start a new thread i always used someone elses threat i am new at this place a real noob and i mean really a noob

You can start a new thread by clicking the black 'New Post' button on the main Inquisition board (above the thing on the right with the dragon's head... yes, I'm feeling super eloquent today). 😉

There are quite a few new players coming in since the Game of the Year version was released (it contains all the DLC and is much cheaper than buying everything separately, so many people waited for it rather than buy the game at release and pay for each DLC as it came out).

They created the Trespasser DLC for fans who wanted more interaction with the companions and advisors after the end of the game. I don't know if you played Mass Effect 3, but it's a bit like the Citadel DLC for that, a fun last hurrah for the whole gang. 😛 If you had to choose one DLC, that would be the one I'd recommend. It also adds extra features to the whole game, like trials and extra ability upgrades.

I know the locations of all the mosaic pieces, so feel free to send a PM if there's one you're stuck on. There are also lists on sites like the wikia that have all the locations. 😉
