Publishing fanfic for non-profit?
I was wondering what, if any, are the rules to publishing fan-fiction? I've written two fanfic pieces and am in the midst of finalizing the third to the series and would love to publish it if I am allowed so I would like to go through the proper channels. I do not wish to make a profit, just to have permission for publication if it is allowable. So, is it permissible at all, what is or isn't allowed as far as the content is based, and most importantly who to contact, etc?
