Quest: Burdens Of Command bug?
hi,
I talked to the red spirit in Old Crestwood, then i killed the Rage demon and i returned to the spirit, after i closed the rift, but the spirit don't disappear and so the quest is not complete. How should i do?

Completed the quest. Have the quest to talk to the spirt and tell him the wyrvn is dead. When first walked up the spirt was in the original house - he talked for a second (I never hit A) - couldn't talk as the wheel was grayed out. After a sec the spirt said something like 'well ok then' and the option wheel (that was only grayed out) dissappeard. He is now wondering around outside the original house, and won't talk. no A option. I am on PC. Tryed leaving, realoading
RESOLVED!! I left Crestwodd and when to Skyhold - then back to crestwood and was able to talk to the spirt. It was back in the original house.
PC. Same problem started talkign to the spirit to start the quest, while I was having the conversation a rage demon attacked me. by the time I dealt with it and came back, The spirit had started wandering around and the quest is still available but unaccessible.
when I tried to start the converstation three corpses attacked my party and I can no longer interact with the spirit, and it is wandering around old crestwood. I am playing the PC version
On PC. First time I tried this, it bugged out before I could get the quest due to the conversation being interrupted by combat. Was never able to reinitiate. Second time I got the quest, killed the demon, had the return quest to return to Command. Started talking with her, she wandered off with the words "go then" which is probably what she's supposed to say when you end a conversation with her. Can't interact with her now and she's disappeared off the minimap with that quest listed as active. I chased her a little bit, had no option to talk to her, and now she's gone but the quest is still sitting there to turn in.
Edit: I just reloaded a save right before I talked to her and was able to complete it. But if she moves at all or you do (a deep stalker ran up just before I talked to her this time I imagine it would have kept me from turning it in), you can't complete it.
I had the same problem. I tried resting reloading last saved. Neither worked. So I then noticed that you can push the spirit. So I push her back the building she was in when giving the quest and was able to turn it in
