Unfortunately, none of the aforementioned fixes worked for me. The whole using the Origin overlay doesn't work for me either since in order to play the damn game, I have to go an disable the Origin overlay in the first place. Otherwise the game won't initiate at all.
REALLY hope this gets patched soon. - Anonymous11 years agoNot applicable
Try turning on Origins (shift F1) in the game, a tip I got from this thread: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/end-of-In-Hushed-Whispers-quest-bug/td-p/4074974
What worked for me was to press shift F1 after the last convo with Leliana, then turn it off when game started loading new screen (the buggy one) then pressing shift F1 fast again when the buggy video started, as sppn as I saw my avatars face hanging over Alexius. Waited a few secs, the text appeared, pressed shift F1 again to turn off Origins and was good to go. Should probably work with just the latter part as well (press shift F1 when buggy video begins).
Hope it helps! - Anonymous11 years agoNot applicable
Note; this DOES NOT WORK if you disable Origin via the properties menu in the Origin library screen.
Some of us unfortunately must disable Origin within the game in order to get the darn game to even boot up. - Anonymous11 years agoNot applicable
As mentioned before: change the hud availability to 'contextual' under options>interface.
That fixed it for me.

As I mentioned before as well, none of the fixes listed in this thread and others have fixed the problem for me unfortunately.

I hit this bug last night. Combining a few suggestions in this thread I lowered my item count from 57 down to 52, switched to Keyboard controls (which are pretty difficult if you've never used them before,) and skipped all the cutscenes and conversation as fast as I could and I was able to get through. A repair was not required for me.
Edit: I should also mention that I already had my HUD set to contextual, and I already had the Origin overlay turned off.

A lot of people mention clearing out their inventories
Does anyone remember which items they destroyed?
Perhaps the bug occurs when there's a certain item still in the inventory
(that's the only thing I can think of, I still haven't managed to get it to work and none of the other fixes worked for me)
- Anonymous11 years agoNot applicableI went through it just fine on my first play through however I got the same problem when I played my second character.
I changed the graphic resolution to low and kept spamming ESC and I finally got pass that cutscene! I got 74/75 in my inventory (by spending point on inquisition, my inventory expanded from 60 to 75) so in my case, the full capacity of inventory had nothing to do with the bug.
Hope this will help. - Anonymous11 years agoNot applicable
Any updates on this?

Here is what worked for me: set the 'HUD Visibility' in the Interface Menu (in 'Options') to CONTEXTUAL. No need to change graphic settings, no need to drop items from inverntory or anything else (also, you can keep playing with a gamepad, no need to switch to mouse/kb for the fight).
Hope this also helps you guys!
