Question based on system requirements for inquisition

A lot of us are having FPS issues with similar riggings.

I would at least wait a couple of days, as for now, the game is very choppy or experiencing alot of bugs for others. 

From my understnading, if you don't meet the minimum specs, you won't be able to run the game properly. But to clarify my point, even those of us wih above min specs are experiencing horrible FPS issues

I ran the performance test in the game using a machine similar to yours.  Was getting 26 to 30 FPS during the test.

My config is¸:

Core2Quad 2.4 GHz (much faster CPU than yours but CPUs are not that important for games)

8 gigs or ram too

Radeon HD 7750 with 1 Gb or ram (your card is about 50% faster)

My guess is you can run the game using minimum to average settings. 

Be warned that the game is buggy as hell.  I actually asked for a refund because I have several issues that makes it impossible to play.

thanks for input it will be this weekend before I can get the game anyway so guess we will see how much it smooths out in the next 3 days

Finally managed to play after 2 hours of tweeking stuff.  Game ran smothly even if I added 2X MSAA to the recommanded settings.

My main issue is that none of my gamepads are supported.  If I can manage to get one to work I will most likelly upgrade the graphic card so I can use the best graphics the game can do.  I have my eyes on a NVidia GTX 970 right now... 4 times more powerful than my current GPU.

Hello! Hijacking the topic for a question 🙂 Since I am still not sure if the black screens at the main menu are the issue of the game itself or just mine computer, I was wondering about an upgrade. Unfortunately I don't know that much about specs *sighs*, so I was hoping someone could tell me if this PC would be enough to run the game:

@Calendyr What gamepad are you trying to use? There have been reported issues with razer keyboards being read as game pads by the system, thus blocking the actual gamepad. If you have a gaming keyboard, please plug it out and plug in the pad, before initialising DAI.

My gamepad is an old Gravis gamepad.  I also tried using my PlayStation 3 gamepad with the MotionJoy driver.  For both, the game would not recognize them at all.  I was forced to delete the config file so I could use the game at all... it no longer recongnize the mouse and keyboard once I selected gamepad in the preferences.

Since then I managed to get it working by downloading a Xbox 360 Gamepad emulator that would think my PS3 gamepad was actually a XBox gamepad.  That worked fairly well but the 2 bumper buttons were not fonctioning for some reason.  I went out and purchased an actual Xbox 360 wired controler and now everything works correctly.

I'm afraid I need to ask about another desktop I found. It's a decent Black Friday deal and I hoped it would be enough to play Inquisition. Would that be alright:

AMD FX-4300 Quad Core Processor 3.8GHz (4MB Cache)

8 GB DDR3 RAM

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 610 1GB  (which I can switch with the GeForce GTX 650 I have atm, not sure which one is better).

It's a really good deal so I hope for a fast answer .. and hopefully positive one :P
