Re: Cannot leave Crestwood

Yes, this is a known bug since the patch.  It is related to a character not generating during Sera's request in Crestwood that you needed to have dialog with to officially finish the request. 

I am not sure if the hotfix for the patch addressed this.  I could be wrong but I believe your only option is to load a previous save.  Someone from EA really needs to post a sticky about this as it has upset a lot of players who need guidance on how to best address this issue.

Well if this is becuase of the Sera quest I do remember fasttravelingaway from that area so that might indeed be the cause.

my problem though is that Idid that quest ages ago and I could leave for an other area at that time and have been playing on other maps before returning to Crestwood, because frankly I don't really like that map to much. Looking for a savegame before the Seraquest therefor would take me back...

Well maybe more then 30 hours of gameplay.

Only 4 hours of gameplay for a save in another area, but that wouldn't be a solution to the problem ofcourse.

Did you get the hotfix for the patch before reentering Crestwood?  I am not sure if they addressed this or are planning to if they haven't.  If you can't enter the area without getting stuck you may have to avoid Crestwood alltogether until someone responds to this. 

I am hopeing someone will read this and respond or create a sticky about this issue to help all of you out who are stuck.

I'm not sure what you mean with the hotfix, but I have been autoupdating and I re-entered Crestwood earlier today about four/five hours before my first post in this thread.
