Re: Cannot move when playing multiplayer?
Couple of things that have helped me with the issue most of the time. Though not 100% as I still have some sessions where almost half a dozen matches I enter, I encounter this bug.
1. Make sure you're running the game from origin, or a desktop shortcut you have not added the "Cinematic 30fps lock fix". If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you can skip this one. If you are using this, exit the game, and launch through origin or an unchanged desktop shortcut. That "fix" works great for SP, but it will cause an error on every MP match.
2. Make sure you added new rules to your firewall to allow the connections through the correct ports. You can read about how to do that here. For the DAI ports look here. This fixed my problem for the most part, with only the problem happening occasionally, and not in EVERY session.
3. Luck. Yup, sometimes the connections to the server or the host is FUBAR. So just restart the game, don't just exit the match and try again. It's a hassle, but it works 95% of the time for me.
BioWare really needs to fix that issue, perhaps dropping the P2P (players to host or "leader" connection) and using dedicated servers or something, I'm not 100% on what the game's MP resources are.
