I can confirm that.
The book is stored in a bookshelf in the "study"-room at the end of the villa, where you can also find a breakable wall on the left hand (or behind you if you look towards the shelf).
The item is bugged in a way that the target marker is duplicated and moved some pixels below the shelf. When you move the cursor towards the book the once highlighted marker disappears and another marker spawns at the right position. Unfortunately, it is now not highlighted, thus it gets not selected, making it impossible to pick up and read the book.
