Ive had the game for nearly 2 weeks and i still can't get past the "click to continue screen". I've made it past it maybe 10 times (6 of which crashed before i even made it to the game), to get maybe an hour play time total (though it's glitchy and looks like i'm running in slow mo), but now - ONCE AGAIN - i cannot load past click to continue.
I rang EA yesterday (after an hour on hold!!!), only to be told that it was the internet or computer and not the game itself that had an issue. His advise - try it on another computer on the same network to eliminate the network as a problem. Surprise surprise, it actually worked!! But my frustration is, i bought a brand new computer with more than enough hardware to operate the game, and i still have not been able to enjoy the game yet.
So far i've shut down firewalls, security, opened ports, forwarded ports, tried open nat filtering, port triggering, downloaded graphic drivers, set play compatibility to Windows 7 (i'm running Windows 8), altered graphics settings (ensuring its diverted to dedicated and not intergrated) - as well as set the graphics to the highest, lowest and every other setting in between. All with no success.
Honestly, what is left to try? I think I've done damn near everything to ensure this works, and that it has the highest network priorities - and no other program is blocking access. I sat with my tech for 6 hours will he tinkered with every single setting in both the computer and internet.
I'm so enraged that a game can be released with so many bugs, errors and crashes - with no notifications on when they can be fixed - and to be told its a problem on my end and I'm to "google" the solutions. I'm not an idiot when it comes to computers, but i'm not a tech either, so how do i even no what can cause the problem (bearing in mind that i've googled problems with inquisition and attempted every suggested fix to no avail)
