Re: Companion are not using skills...

Same here - any suggestions regarding out to fix it?

EDIT: Restarting the game seems to temporary fix this issue - now fights are way way easier :P

    I think I found a solution.

From Xbox menu go to My games and apps.

Press start on Inquisition and select manage game.

Scroll right to your profile and select saved data.

You should see "delete from console" and "delete from everywhere"

I deleted from console, then started inquisition again. Upon starting up it synced game data (downloads the saves from cloud storage) I loaded my most recent save and boom.

Companions are using their abilities again.

  • I have this issue on PC. It happens randomly after playing for a while. It has nothing to do with my tactics settings because when I restart my game, reload the save, the party members use their skills again like normal.

Please desist from spamming the forum about this matter!  Thank you.

  • I wasn't spamming. I replied to all the people who were having this issue. If it's a big issue for you, a mod could just merge all the threads into one.

These threads are months old. There's no point replying in them.

Your replies were all identical. It's most definitely spam.

  • I added my issue to every report. If EA or whoever has been following these topics, their bug team can look into it. Bioware specifically says to report bugs here.

BioWare claimed in the past they read everything players write in forums. I'm sure once will be enough.

Just imagine if someone with a DirectX crash would bump every thread about this issue. Things would be chaotic on this forum.

  • If the threads I reported on aren't worth replying too, they will fall quick. You know that. This forum is busy. It really doesn't matter as much as you think. There are far more Chaotic things in life than this forum.

  • Your such a troll, I had to respond even though this post is old. Your waste life, go jump in traffic. You never said anything related to the post, you just came in being a troll. Go back under your bridge no one likes you. 😉
