I'm having trouble today with Inquisition but I'm playing on the 360 to finish off the last 5 achievements. I didn't have any issues 2 weeks ago with DA2, but could not connect with DAO.

On the Xbox One I couldn't connect with DAO but could with DA2 and Inquisition. Confusing!

EDIT: I just found out how to check the server status and EA 360 servers are down. Now if I can just figure out why I can't connect with Origins on the Xbox One...

Hey @vortexwx. 

If you're still having trouble connecting with DA:O I'd like to try some troubleshooting to see if we can help you get back online. Can you try clearing the Alternate MAC Address on your Xbox to see if that helps? 

Open up the Settings on your Xbox One and select Network Settings. From there go to Advanced Options and select the option to clear the Alternate MAC Address. The Xbox will then restart. Let me know if you're still having trouble connecting after that.

I'll have to reinstall it but I do still have the Darkspawn Chronicles to do. I was just going to do them on the 360 but happy put it back on the One. At least it doesn't overheat!

Okay, so I cleared the Alternate MAC address and rebooted, and I am still having the same problem. It makes all of the DLC unavailable as well. I have captured a brief video (42 seconds) showing this and uploaded it to my OneDrive for sharing.

Thanks for the video. This is what you're seeing when you're trying to play through backwards compatibility on the Xbox One, correct? Are you connected to Xbox Live in backwards compatibility? I'm wondering if it's having trouble syncing cloud information.

Yes, logged into Xbox Live, and no issues with cloud syncing. Tatum is the only character on cloud storage from my 360. I had finished up Golems of Amgarrak on that. 

Prior to this I had multiple characters synced  to my Xbox One and had the same issue, which is why I uninstalled and decided to finish some of the DLC on my 360.

If you're able and need to check my XBL account my gamertag is Grumpy0lLady, and is associated with this email address. The DA Keep recognizes that.

Here's a thought:

Apparently there's a similar problem on the PC version and the fix is to install the toolset. No idea how that affects it but perhaps there's something in the code that allows the server link? I know it's a long shot but it's frustrating to not be able to play a backwards compatible game with or without the discs. I have the discs but it is still being sold on the Xbox Marketplace so it really should be fixed.

What toolset? because I have all 3 games in the DA series and Inquisition & 2 won't work. Origin does but the DLC don't show up
