I'm absolutley furious rignt now. I have called EA twice in the last half hour to be told they no longer support this game. Even though I can play DAO and DA2.
I've been bruskley told to sod off and they can't help. Disgusted doesn't even cover it.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused.
I think you could be right and that they should at least try giving me another product registery code but they're also refusing to do that.
Finally I got help.
Ok so the suggestion they made has worked.
For those out there who still can't play. Here is the fix.
Uninstall the ea launcher and Dragon Age Inquisition.
Make a new user account on your pc/laptop.
Install EA Launcher and Dragon Age Inquisition.
Enjoy.

I'm off to play DAI. woohoo.
Yeah just make a new user account.
Go to Settings >Accounts>Family & Other Users>Add Someone Else to this pc
Then make a new user account. Make sure to give it Admin rights.
Sign out of the main account & into the new account.
If it's that simple (it worked for me) why is it so hard for them to come up with a fix so we dont have to do that? It's obviously something to do with the account since it works on another account with the same install.
is there something we can delete, or some registry thing we can fix or take out?
EDIT: nevermind, making a new windows account it worked once. after logging back into it later it now also says that the game is already running. wtf
This shouldn't be the solution they should just fix there app
