Re: DAI Won't Launch

Well I went through Avast and got the whole package cause I had the money and made DAI an exception on both my firewall program and my actual settings and its still doing the same thing.

  • There are two different exclusions, one for scanning and one global for everything including how the program runs. If you just did a scanning exclusion then it will still stop it from working. You should do a global exclusion and possibly do a temp disable to get it to work.

@mcsupersportcan you walk me through excluding it globally on Avast cause its working after I uninstalled it and I do want Avast on my computer

  • I personally don't have Avast....for my sins I use AVG and have for years.

Two sites linked should be able to walk you through the steps.  You will need to put Dragon Age Inquisition(I personally just put all my Origin games folder in mine), Origin program, and DAI saves folder in exclusions.  So that is 3 things that must be added.  As an alternate you should also be able to temporarily disable your AV for a set time and get it to start that way too....
