Re: Dragon Age Inquisition - Stuck on the loading screen after launching the game

Do you happen to have Origin installed? Maybe it's a problem with the EA app, so make sure that's closed and try to run Dragon Age Inquisition from Origin.

In addition: There's a bug where load times in Inquisition are extremely long when Origin in-game overlay is disabled, so make sure that's on. I tried to recreate that problem in EA app, but it doesn't have the same issue. Still, if you want to test the game in Origin, make sure the in-game overlay is on.

I also know of a bug where load times can be longer when using RivaTuner, so if that's running in the background, turn it off. If you don't know what RivaTuner is, don't worry about this.

Also make an exception for the installation folder of EA App and Origin (if you have it installed).

  • Hi!

I reinstalled Oirigin it did a repair of the game and after launching THE GAME STARTED WORKING!  I closed ans relaunch the game a few times and synched my Dragon Age Keep infos and yeah it's still working!

I hope I wont get any issues with the game for a while.

    Thank you very much!!!!!!

  • I tried installing the Origin app and loading the game there, but I can't even get that far because while starting the origin app it forced me to install the EA app (which was already installed, and through which dragon age was installed, version 12.218.0.5475) went on to uninstall Origin.
