I actually managed to fix this issue via a repair operation on the game files.

That said, I'm experiencing VERY frequent crashes in the game, so maybe the beta driver will help with that.

No sorry, it didn't help. This does NOT solve the problem.

Btw I have a ps3 and tried making two new profiles that eventually
did the same loading freeze

it's still happening for me, even after the latest patch. tried all suggested things, nothing has worked so far. i get to the tip screen, it goes black and has the inquisition logo blinking in the lower right corner like it should, but then it freezes, stops blinking, the music stops, and no matter how long i wait it won't go.
