Does it crash in a specific place, or anywhere in the game (DLC or not)?
You should only have to change package.mft if you've used mods and removed the mod folder in order to get through a mod-unfriendly section of DLC, so you can load your saves. Otherwise you shouldn't touch this file.z
If your crash is occurring during combat, it may be related to changes to skills that came with the release of Trespasser, disable the sword & shield skill lunge and slash in the tactics of any party members you're bring with you (and obviously don't use it yourself). Line in the sand (champion) has also been said to cause crashing.
If the crash is happening when you interact with tables in the main camp, you have a mod that the DLC doesn't like. Redo your mod merge and try to avoid any cosmetic mods (especially things like facial textures, skara's hair texture, etc.). Things which only affect gameplay mechanics seem to be fine (well, I had no trouble).
If the crash is happening at the section where you examine some bodies, remove your entire mod folder, and change the package.mft file patch number to match that of the package.mft from the removed mod folder (so you can load your saves).
If it's none of these things, give more info (system specs, when/where the mod is crashing, etc). If you want to post a video, probably best to post it to YouTube or something and post a link here.
