Re: Dragon Age: Origins Crashes to Desktop clicking to start "New Game"

I wouldn't even begin to know how to retrieve that but I don't think that's the issue as it is. 

I can open the game. It boots without issue. I then will click "New Game" and it will actually load - and then after about 30 seconds to 1 minute of loading, it will crash to desktop without fail. This has happened many times to me and I don't know why. I've had the game for many years. What is going on?

Are you using or have you used mods related to character creation?  I had this issue before and it turned out to be due to OneDrive preventing the mod manager I was using from properly cleaning up mods.
