Re: Help!

I uninstalled the game through Origin.I tried starting a new game, three times (sorry, I left that out of my colorful narrative). The problem happened right, and I mean immediately after I deleted the whole folder. I should only have deleted the SAVE folder and not the SUPPORT folder as well. That's my problem. I need a way to get the SUPPORT folder restored. I did not add the \\, the error message has that in it. The file is no longer there as it was part of the folder I deleted. It only started having issues after I deleted the SUPPORT folder. ☹️
Any help you can provide would be welcome and appreciated.

You didn't mention that you deleted the support folder, only that you deleted the DA Inquisition folder from My Documents > Bioware. The support folder is in Program Files > Origin Games > Dragon Age Inquisition, generally it's best to avoid deleting things from the Program Files directory unless you know what you're doing. 😉

    Things you could try doing:
Try changing the install path. For instance, if you have a different hard drive, install on that. Otherwise, you could try installing to Program Files, rather than Program Files (x86) (which is theoretically for 32 bit programs, but I don't think Windows really cares).
You can change the settings for where your games install to in the Origin client by going to Origin (up the top of the application window) > Application Settings > Advanced. The first thing on that page should be 'Downloaded games', with an option to change the install path of your downloaded games.

I'm Australian, and we have our own version of powerball, would be pretty surprising if I won it though, since I don't buy tickets. 😛 Right now I'd just be happy to be able to play the game, computer keeps overheating, evil summer.

Glad you got it sorted 🙂 Just remember that if you leave the install path as is, any other new games you install will also install there.
