Ah, I see. As I understand it, the xbox downloads are region-based, and if you're in a German speaking region, the German version is what will be downloaded. I'm not too familiar with the xbox version of the game, but I take it that there are no options to change this in the menus, or possibly to activate subtitles as something of a workaround? Is your system language set to English?
