that is the problem, it should work like it does in tactics mode in dai or like it does in any mode in dao and da2, you click and your character walks over and picks it up. same with attacks, if i tell my character or another party member i have selected to attack something i shouldn't have to hold down a mouse button outside tactics mode for them to continue to attack with standard attacks, they should do that be default, and i haven't even seen a way to set that as the default behaviour. that is a pretty big dissapointment, this isn't skyrim where you controll one character and tactics are all from a first person view, i should be able to let the game run whether in tactics mode or not and not have to do anything with my selected character to ensure continued standard attacks. if i have to hold a mouse button down for standard attack how do i look around? tactics mode works, but from what i have been able to figue out looking around is pretty limited because even one click of my scroller to zoom in leaves tactics mode. come on, these are simple issues with simple fixes that already exist in the game, shouldn't take much to implement.

Exactly! The same way aircon has become standard in cars, automove to pickup items has been standard in RPGs for years. It really irks me that in this super next gen title, something so simple has been overlooked. It might seem nit picky, but it really detracts from the experience having to navigate to an item, inching forward waiting for the game to deem you close enough. Its pathetic.

Agreed. If they did something right in DA:2 it was the looting mechanic. Press 'R', move to the closest lootable object. Brilliant.
