Meaning, anyone in that situation, wanting to obtain even a single DLC would alsohave to pay once more for the game they already have?

"the offer currently available is the GOTY, from the store or EA Play."
there is NO GOTY edition in your store. The only visible option is DA Inquisition Standard edition, which i have one. Where is GOTY ?
"this appears to be working as designed"
Do you suggest that players who bought standard edition, now HAVE to pay again for GOTY and this is "as designed" ? Do EA feel well, who makes such brainless decisions ??
Where is GOTY, where are DLCs?
This thread is about Dragon Age Inquisition.
The DLCs for DAO are free for some time now and should have been downloaded to your device automatically.

"his thread is about Dragon Age Inquisition. "
Im talking exactly about Inqusition. I edited comment.
As i said, there is no GOTY edition for Inqusition. I own standard version, and GOTY is not visible in EA store at all.In "Dodatki" (DLC) There is only one entry: "waluta dragon Age Inkwizycja". No DLCs.
It was my understanding that DLCs for DAI were no longer being sold separately, and were to be only available with the Game of the Year edition...which in my area is on sale 88% off making it about 5 dollars right now. Since the DLC usually sell for much more than this, it is best to try and get them by buying the GoTY on sale thus getting all DLC for 5 dollars.
I know there was some talk about just making EVERYONE who had standard edition get an automatic upgrade and unlocking of all DLC....I don't know if it happened, but some posters claimed it happened for them. To see what DLC are unlocked for you, then click the manage button beside the play and then click on the top button, manage add-ons and it should list every DLC unlocked and/or installed.
I do know the EA Play app they "upgraded" everyone too, has been meh at best, especially with Bioware games and DLC. But by all information I have heard/seen, DAI will never have more than "currency" for MP play in the add-ons tab.......
The EA Play version is the GOTY edition.
In your EA app library > Click on the 3 dots at the DAi cover > Manage Add-ons > Make a screenshot and post it here.

Ok, I can confirm - all DLCs are NOW visible under manage additions (they wasnt before and i dont have EA play subscription) - so they had add it now for free. Name for my DAI was previous "standard" now i see "you own goty edition". Look also at second jpg attachment of user "xanthus7' here from 7 february - and you see also "standard edition".
BTW there is still no GOTY edition on product name list and in product cover image as on steam - where there are clear declarations and no confusions. EA had previously the same cover like is on steam regarding goty edition, now it looks like standard, and no goty in product name list. - ACratere2 years agoNot applicable
