The fix is here. you need to click the search option. on the xbox one or using an xbox controller its the left stick button. it makes the items actionable

You are an angel! the left stick thing worked. And I couldn't finish the wicked hearts quest whew. ea support had no idea when I talked to them online. idiots don't know their own game
