The game won't start because of "Library load failure: NxCharacter.dll"

Everything I can find online is about Avast which I don't have installed, and I have already tried reinstalling it.

Sorry, but "No Data in = No Data out"

  • I should have included this already but here is the stuff from that post

     Game Version:   1.05
Retail or Digital: Digital from Origin
        Processor Manufacturer: Intel
        Processor Type: Intel i5
        Processor Core Speed: 3.3 GHz
Operating System / Service Pack: W7 (service pack 1)
        System RAM:  8.0  GBs
        Direct3D APIs dated:  DX 11.1
        Video Card Manufacturer: nVIDIA
        Video Card Model: GTX 570
        Video Card RAM: (example) 1280
        Video Card Driver Version: 310.9
        Sound Card Manufacturer:
        Sound Card Model:
        Sound Card Driver date:
        Sound Card Driver Version:
        DVD Type: DVDRW
        Hard Drive Type: SATA
Free Disk Space:  C:\\\\ 170GB (Indicate additional drive letters and amount of free space where game and saved files are located if you have multiple or partitioned drives).
        Power Supply:  Corsair 750W

It happens whenever I try to start the game through origin, and whenever I try to open it without origin.  The game worked one time but after turning off my computer it wouldn't work anymore.

  • Maybe I am missing something, but  everything in that thread is about Avast?

    Hi lordofeagles,

What is your Anti-virus? It might be worth trying to follow the same troubleshooting steps as the one provided on those BSN threads just in case your anti-virus is simply acting the same way as Avast was acting.
