Re: [Old Report] dragon age inquisition unable to connect to ea servers to activate

Im not promoting piracy in any way, in fact I am against it. That being said:

I had a similar experience when i contacted support. They know its an issue and "they are working to resolve it". No timetabe, no nothing. I didnt even get a discount.

I hate to say this but, seriously, when the DRM makes it more difficult to play a game you paid for than one you didn't, its really stupid. Technical issues happen, thats normal. But an issue where people cannot play the game at all should have every dev pulled off vacation to fix the issue because we now have a product that we cannot use. We paid, we are legit, and yet the illigitimate people are playing the game where as we are not.

EA needs to start firing people, yes I said firing people. Not the poor devs that worked on the game and are proportedly trying to fix it, but the managers who are in charge. They should be standing in front of the board of directors explaining how they managed to botch a AAA game title, around Christmas time. How many people are asking for refunds? How much trust has been lost in a company that has to have customers who trust that their products will work?

This isnt a simple glitch people, this is literly game breaking and should hav ebeen solved within hours, the first time it happened.

In the end we sit and wait, and I will most assuredly wait many months after the release of future games EA puts out before I buy them. Youve just lost a full price customer. Ill wait till they go on sale from now on.
