Try installing the Physx standalone package from nvidia.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.1220-driver.html
You might have to uninstall first, don't know for sure. Fixes this for quite a lot of people.

¿What if I have the same problem and Im using an ATI Readon Graphics?

i just had success installing the older physx driver from 2010.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.10.0129.html
had tried the most recent one and that didn't work. had tried a clean boot and repaired a game and that didn't work. the system has an AMD apu in it and installing that older driver ended up working and the game launched.
None of these solutions worked for me... help?
@MaeBell16 What anti-virus do you use? If you try temporarily disabling it then perform the steps again, does that help?
