2 years agoRe: [Steam] Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition Not Launching
@FireKali Thank you for adding that file. So, taking a look this is what I found so far.
Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.
This should be done with the following steps
- Select Start, and type CMD.
- Right-click Command Prompt; then, choose Run as administrator.
- If prompted, enter a username and password that grants admin rights to the computer.
- Type sc config trustedinstaller start= auto; then, press Enter. You should get a SUCCESS message.
- Next, type net start trustedinstaller; then, press Enter. You should receive a message that the service was started.
- Try the sfc /scannow command again.
The error reports you've posted indicate that the application "DAOriginsConfig.exe" is crashing repeatedly. The error code "c0000094"
Delete Windows Temp Files
- First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot the PC
Optional Registry clean-up
- install CCleaner (it's free) from here
- Run Registry cleaner
- Click review selected issues
- Do you want to back up? No
- Click Fix all selected issues
