Re: Still stuck in fade after character creation

This is a bug when you have a modified shortcut you use to start the game. Specifically if you have the 60 frames per second fix on your shortcut. If you start the game through Origin or using an unmodified shortcut, you will be able to get through the opening normally. You can then save after the opening cutscene, quit the game, and restart the game with your modified shortcut.

Be aware that fixes have been put in the game that make the modified shortcut unnecessary now, so you don't need to keep using it (unless you are unpatched).

I just launched the game from an unmodded shortcut, and the framerate is still locked at 30fps in cutscenes.

BioWare said they want to fix the 30fps cap, but that it would require core changes to the engine. Battlefield Hardline has the same problem.

    Thanks! I was misinformed.
