By the way the freezing only appears to start after a loading screen / start up. - Leora8510 years agoHero+

Are you using the Xbox controller to play the game? I've heard some people have had issues with controllers (not something I've really paid attention to, so don't remember what sort of issues), but maybe try removing the controller, see if that helps? (Quick and easy thing to test, anyway).
Your system meets the system requirements for the game, so it shouldn't be anything like that.
If you think the system interrupts thing is causing the issue, you might want to try Microsoft or Alienware (since according to your dxdiag that's who built your computer).
I've also noticed you've got a few errors down the bottom of your dxdiag, several to do with Windows Update. So perhaps Microsoft would be your best bet. Unless someone here has a solution. 🙂 - Anonymous10 years ago
I do use an Xbox controller so I will try that when I get a chance, thank you for your help and suggestions, I will see what I can do and hopefully get the game running properly!
