Re: Will one of these computers run the game?

All three CPUs, ram, and HDs are fine.  My only real concern is the Graphics cards in all three.  They will probably run, but not as well as you may want, would prefer to see a R9270 card or even better a R9 290 in a "gaming" computer.  The 250s are decent but DAI is a resource hog and a half.  I was running a AMD Radeon hd 6950 for the game, it allowed me to run on almost all med graphics and two high textures for getting rid of the plastic hair.

AMD-Radeon-R7-250-vs-AMD-Radeon-HD-6950  comparison of the R7's to give you an idea that they are below that capability and even worse yet for those computers...

GeForce-GT-8800-Mac-vs-AMD-Radeon-R7-250  comparison to the min requirements to be in specs to play the game.  You will notice that the R7s don't even beat the min spec card in all catagories.

Personally I would look for something with a bit more power for gaming in the vid card area if you are buying straight out.  For a new computer for Gaming, you should look for an R9 270 or greater card, and if you can afford it, R9 290X...

AT least make sure the systems are able to be upgraded in the future by changing out the graphics card, meaning make sure they have the open slots, and power supply to support it.

If I was building a gaming rig and didn't want to totally break the bank....

AMD 8 core processor as fast I can affort, probably 3.5-4.0 ghz

12 gigs or ram

2x 1 TB hds with room to expand with SSD(SSD if I can afford it, but probably couldn't with the size I would want and my bank)

Win7.....not sold completely on 8.1 yet, but many love it.

AMD R9 290x

high quality 1000w psu

This would be probalby available in my budget and would make a good system for several years of gaming.

Thanks.  It was the graphic card I was concerned about.  I've asked a company to price out a refurb for me based on the specs BioWare provided for their recommended.  I may just ask them to price out using the specs you provided to me.  And, they would build so that the computer is upgradable.  I just saw these computers and thought 'well, why not?'  You answered the 'why not?' for me.
