redeeming DA orign. CD key and promo code

When I get a game I normally just like to download install and play now this says I have to redeem my promo code to play the added content that came with my ultimate edition so first I have to register a game well I have other game from EA and Bio from origin and steam but this game is already being a pain it say I have the wrong CD key that I copied from the steam clip board and I cant redeem the extras because I have no game registered. why couldn't EA just stick with steam I mean REALLY so what do I have to do to get this fixed in the least steps possible I work on computers for 10+ hours a day fix all the broken problems other people have when I get home I just want to play games on mine not fix it or problems it's software has.  so now going through steam which took me to origin I got the bloody game registered but I put in the other code that I am lead to believe is the extras from ultimate and the damn page keeps say reload this page by going to redeem code under settings but there is no damn settings anywhere one the page??????????????????????????????
