Refilled Potions lost between load screens (PC)
This is an odd one, and it only started happening once I began Trespasser.
When I started the DLC, not all of my potions were replenished. Health Potions were full, but, for example, but Inquisitor had 5/6 Restoration Potions and 3/4 Antivan Fire Grenades. A couple other chars weren't full-up as well, but most were fine. Get into the DLC, find the potion table and replenish everyone up. Get into the first big battle, go to throw a fire grenade and...oh, it says 3/4. Did I throw one already and forget? Must have. Keep playing for a bit, go back and replenish as needed. Get into more fights and...Okay, I know I didn't use a replenish potion already.
After some testing, I've found that I can refill the potions fine at the table and if I check in after a few minutes within the same area they're still there, but as soon as a loading screen occurs, it goes right back to the old potion numbers. So once I leave an area, load a save, etc., I lose some of my potions. I even replenished them, saved, reloaded immediately, and checked again - sure enough, back to 5/6 and 3/4. This is true for any of the characters that didn't have replenished potions as well, just not the Inquisitor.
I'm playing on PC. Save file has played through Jaws of Hakkon and The Descent DLCs as well. Has anyone else run into this at all?
EDIT: Just another note from testing. Using a potion and then going through a load screen does not replenish back up the the broken potion amount, so it's only losing potions - not gaining.
If you (or Sera) have the upgrade from the Tempest skill tree which allows for carrying extra potions/grenades, or if you're wearing accessories that do this, your potion/grenade count will reset to [default max] - any you've used / [your max with skills/accessories]. Seem to remember something in patch notes claiming this had been fixed, but it's always stayed the same for me. I've just gotten used to not bothering to fill my potions past the default amount unless I'm sure I'll need them, and I don't bother equipping accessories that increase potion or grenade capacity. One less thing to choose between 😛
