Registration Codes

I bought a used copy of Dragon age II from Amazon but the registration code is not working.

I used the registration code to complete the game installation. Since SecuROM was not functioning I patched the game and downloaded Origins. When I attempted to register it using Origins it said that the code had already been registered. Is there any way that I can play the game without buying another copy?
